About Roof Surveys
The last few months have been an exciting time at Blaker Collins! Why? Well, we can now offer a full roof survey service using either our telescopic roof pole camera or our lightweight drones.
This service is now available to those who are concerned about the condition of their roof, gutters, chimneys, and other areas that are not visible from the ground or from first-floor windows.
These tools provide a great addition to our already high-quality and detailed Level 2 and Level 3 surveys.
Our telescopic roof pole camera can extend up to 10m high and provides close-up, high-resolution images, particularly useful when greater detail is required.
Our drones are the DJI mini 3 series and weigh under 250g, meaning that they can be used in most residential areas. These drones again can provide a greater level of detail, from both far away and up close, enabling us to see hidden defects and issues not picked up when viewed from ground level.
Due to flight zone restrictions, unfortunately it does mean that in some areas we are unable to offer the drone service, particularly around busy airports such as Gatwick. However, a roof pole camera survey maybe appropriate.
We are happy to work alongside not only private purchasers, but also managing agents for blocks of flats, council departments, and other associations, all of whom may require detailed roof or wall elevation surveys.
