About Blaker Collins & Philosophy
We are residential surveyors providing RICS home surveys, levels 2 & 3, and valuations.
Here at Blaker Collins, our goal is to give you the best possible experience, and as much information as possible to help you make that all-important decision on the home you have fallen in love with.
We feel that not enough attention is given to clients individual needs, and we want to be able to understand what you specifically want from a survey, what your concerns are, and then use our joint experience and expertise to fulfil those needs.

We comply with the RICS Home Survey Standard. We are RICS Registered Valuers, and are regulated and audited by the RICS.
Meet the team
Sophie Blaker (Estate Man. BScHons) MRICS
Sophie qualified as a Chartered Surveyor over 25 years ago. Initially working in the London commercial property sector, she soon became involved exclusively with residential property which is where her true interests lie. Sophie is a RICS Registered Valuer.
Gavin Collins MCIOB AssocRICS
Gavin qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Building in 2015. Gavin has worked in the residential property sector for almost 15 years. He has experience in the insurance repair sector, which includes fire, flood and subsidence claims. Gavin loves surveying properties of all types and moved over to pre-purchase surveys in 2017. Gavin is also a RICS Registered valuer.
